Banana Bread – Eggless

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Curd/Yogurt
  • 4 Banana ripe
  • 1-1/2 cup All purpose flour maida
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate chopped
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven at 175°C/ 350°F.
  • Mash 4 ripe bananas using a fork and keep it aside.
  • Take room temperature butter and sugar in a bowl and mix it together using a hand whisker. 
  • Add curd/yogurt to it and mix it well until combined.
  • Now add the mashed bananas to it and mix it.
  • Now add the sifted all purpose flour/maida, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder to it. Mix it well.
  • Add vanilla essence to it and mix.
  • Now transfer it to a greased and lined baking tray. Make it smooth using a spatula.  
  • Add some chocolate chunks or chocolate chips on the top. 
  • Now take a banana, peel it and slice it in half. Place it on the top. Press it a little. 
  • Add some refined sugar on top it to make a crunchy layer. This step is optional.
  • Bake it at 175°C/350°F for 45-50 minutes or until it's done. 
  • Take it out and let it cool. Cut it in desired slices and your banana bread is ready.
