Shrikhand Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Curd – 1 & 1/2 cups
  • Sugar candy powder or sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Rose essence – 2 drops
  • Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
  • Pistachios – 8
  • Ellaichi- 10

METHOD: 

1. In a thin white cloth hang the curd for 4 hours so that excess water drains. In a mixing bowl, take 1/2 cup hung curd, add 2 drops rose essence, A pinch of cardamom powder, 3 tbsp powdered sugar candy or sugar, Mix well with a whisk until smooth.

2. Transfer to the serving bowls. Garnish with soaked, peeled, finely chopped pistachios, Cover it with cling wrap and keep refrigerated until serving.
